1. The RHN networks with current non-profit Community Service Organizations within each active County that offer the same or similar programs in order to combine our efforts to maximize service to needy individuals in the community. Networking with other agencies insures greater assistance to recipients by offering other contacts for the recipient's needs if the RHN alone cannot furnish what they need at the moment.
2. The RHN solicits furniture & other household donations from all sources available within the County, stores the items in a local facility, and distributes the items to needy individuals in the County as requested. 100% of all donated items are distributed to recipients within the County without cost to the recipients. Items donated are distributed to the needy either through the RHN Volunteer staff or the donated items are redirected to partner agencies within the County so they may distribute the items to their clients.
3. The RHN solicits all local Businesses to donate items such as copy paper, pens, pencils, office supplies, office equipment, and other operating items that will indirectly benefit the needy of the County by allowing the RHN and the Partnering Agencies to receive these items free of charge in order to lower the operating costs for the non-profit organizations. Lower operating expenses allows what budget each agency has to benefit the needy directly.
Become a Recipient - Free Furniture:
If you have a need for assistance of free furniture because you have experienced a hardship similar to the
conditions as listed in the RHN Mission Statement, contact the RHN via our "Contact Us" link on our
Website and our representative will advise you as to how to qualify for and receive assistance via our
programs.
**Some of our networking partner agencies have specific guidelines for qualifying.
**Others have very flexible guidelines.
**Most importantly, make the contact if there is a need.
Become a Networking Partner:
If you are a non-profit organization or agency wishing to expand your availability of items
donated to your organization, or if you wish to diversify and expand your assistance to a larger broader
recipient base in your local community contact the RHN and become a network partner with us. There
are no dues or fees or costs to become a networking partner of the RHN.
Be a Corporate Donor:
Donate items to the RHN that your business normally sells to the public as an avenue of contributing to
the lowering of the local non-profit organizations expense to operate. This indirectly benefits the needy
of the community by assisting the agencies to operate within their limited budgets. Donations of this
nature are a true Blessing to non-profit agencies.
Be a Supporter/Grantor:
If you are a Philanthropist, or an individual, group, company, business, or organization that shares the
same ethics & beliefs as the RHN regarding assisting those in need, please don't hesitate to contact us to
